But, as 20-something filmmaker Emily Diana Ruth suggests in her new video, "What A Young Girl Should Not Know," it’s only when we as women grow older and look back that we realize just how lucky we were.

Many women will identify with the lessons in the video. Some are presented touch of whimsy.
